Network In Action (NIA) combines face-to-face networking with technology. Its local groups have just one mandatory meeting a month instead of a weekly commitment, and members stay connected the rest of the month through the NIA website and smartphone app, where they pass and track referrals and post updates.
Each group is run by a professional leader, typically a franchise owner with a stake in members' success, rather than rotating volunteers. Every member must pass a background check and receives a free business assessment. NIA also offers a guaranteed return on the membership for members who attend 11 of 12 meetings and pass 12 referrals.
Beyond the local group, members can join monthly virtual events open to all NIA groups (Network With The Nation, Sales Mastery and a Speaker Series) and about ten area networking events a year. Membership includes a CRM, review-management software, a professional video and 24/7 business tutorials.
