Startup Grind is a global community for early-stage startup founders, started in 2010 by entrepreneurs who wanted to solve the problem of launching a company. It now has more than 300 local chapters in over 100 countries and says it has reached millions of entrepreneurs.
Chapters are run by volunteer directors and host more than 125 events a month, such as founder meetups, fireside chats and pitch practice, with many open to anyone building a startup. A year-round online community runs through newsletters, social channels and a member discussion forum. Each spring the Startup Grind Conference gathers more than 5,000 founders, investors and operators in Silicon Valley.
It focuses on startups from bootstrapped beginnings through Series A, and offers startup, investor and expert memberships, content and startup perks. Its values are making friends, not contacts, and giving first.
