YEC (Young Entrepreneurs Council) describes itself as a council, not a networking group: a vetted circle of founders, co-founders, CEOs and operators who give each other candid counsel. "Young" refers to mindset, not age, so members can be 28 or 58.
Members trade asks and gives such as hiring advice, vendor referrals, warm introductions and feedback on decisions, and doing business with each other is encouraged. A seat includes a private member home and directory searchable by industry, location, expertise and stage, recorded live sessions with operators, publishing opportunities through YEC and partners including Inc., small member-hosted dinners, member spotlights, partner perks and a library of playbooks and templates. Events happen online and in person; some are open to anyone building something, others are members only.
Membership is decided through a short application, a conversation and a review by YEC leadership, which reads for fit and contribution rather than credentials. Members are expected to show up and give as much as they take.
